The biggest question I have is about the 30 percent of the entire earths land surface? I think they mean usable land.

That's what they say. 30 percent of land surface, which includes pasture and includes using 33 percent of the world's arable land to grow feed.
That's all livestock. |

Ammonia solved in water acts like a base, not an acid.
I thought is sounded wrong with acid rain remembering something about base, so I did a quick browse in Wikipedia. I'm on a time restraint right now. If someone knows, please explain "which contributes significantly to acid rain."

Man... They really are explaining themselves badly, or purposefully wrong.....
Ammonia is a base (ph 11 to 12). The ammonia ion actually decreases the acidity of rain. Looking at this map makes it look as if the higher ph is linked to the higher ammonia.
Interesting. But I am not the scientist.
