Now that freedom of speech and censorship are the hot issues right now and big-tech are teaming up to silence the truth especially regarding covid-19 and vaccines, is the telegram app a good alternative to FB messenger, Twitter, and other messaging apps?

Yes, it is good to use. a fun fact: A telegram is a secure option for messaging due to several features it offers, although there are some weaker areas in its overall security when comparing it to other messaging apps. Usage of the chat platform Telegram has skyrocketed as WhatsApp users flock to alternative platforms amid privacy concerns.

Well... ok. But your OP started with a big ole claim regarding freedom of speech and censorship by big tech with examples of COVID 19 and vaccines.

Since companies cannot infringe upon your freedom of speech, only a government can do that, I suspect that what you are really wanting are messaging apps where the user agreements are not so restrictive and/or not enforced.
