I thought I'd been discussing "a publicly financed national health program that would fully fund medical care for all Americans, while lowering costs by eliminating the profit-driven private insurance industry with its massive overhead."
I mean, not in those exact words, but I'm sure we would have gotten around to talking about CEO pay versus government scale eventually. And part of the massive overhead is all the people required to sir around and deny claims. There are procedures they have to adhere to by law, after all. |
