Ashcroft and the Dept. of Justice reversed the Fed's long standing interpretation of the 2nd Amendment.

For those not familiar with the U.S. Constitution, the argument is about gun control, and how to interpret 2nd Amendment, (A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed). Some feel that the the two clauses are dependent, and others feel the clauses to be exclusive.

Now, I am feeling a little strange, because, for the first, time Ashcroft and I agree on something!

"The Constitution ..., is a marvelous document for self-government by Christian people. But the minute you turn the document into the hands of non-Christian and atheistic people they can use it to destroy the very foundation of our society." P. Robertson

Congratulations!!

Here in Canada, we're going through Gun Control Legislation hell. And it's not even going to solve anything.

The last assasination attempt on our Prime Minister was a dude with a knife, and he's been assaulted twice by people with cream pies! The (ex)leader of the opposition was doused with chocolate milk. Typically Canadian.

Most of our murders and robberies here involve the use of blunt instruments. Gun legislation is barking up the wrong tree.

If you think it's work, you're doing it wrong.

What would have happened if those people who were assaulted had a gun to defend themselves? Perhaps we'd have LESS crime if criminals knew people DID have weapons of their own.
