I have no idea where to put this, however, it's floating about the internet.

quote:
June 6, at 4:00 p.m (Moscow Time) PRAVDA.Ru will hold an on-line press conference with Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Science Alexander CHUVYROV. The professor of Bashkir State University found indisputable evidence of the existence of an ancient, highly developed civilization in the Urals. His find is a huge slab, whose age is supposed to be about 120 million years.

It seems to me that the entire argument for the "ancient civilization" or what have you rests on the assumption that the carvings are as old as the slab.

Could not these be recent carvings to an ancient slab? Cardiff giant, anyone?

What say you?

Did anyone see the part where the slab was wrapped in the Shroud of Turin? :P

If Alexander CHUVYROV thought that tie in his photo was attractive he would believe anything. Maybe dinosaurs painted the tie.

Nice site, TD. I don't know about Conan at 10k BC, though. He spoke awfully good, if accented, English to be that old.
