What would happen to the world if air was more dense then water? Would the water just take place of where the air is? Ok I am officially confused...

If the air were heavier than water the earth would never have formed as it did, we'd be a gas ball simlar to neptune or uranus, with perhaps a dense solid core.

I'm guessing, I'm no physicist.

Interesting thought experiment, Megan.

Depends on how the extra density is gained. If one of the atoms was to have greater mass, it would have profound effects on lots of things besides water.
