Say, has anyone heard about law #3037? » According to the new law 3037/2002 every game in computers, mobile phones, and every electrical device in public and private places alike is prohibited! Read the first 3 sections: http://www.netcafe.gr/files/law.txt
So i was wondering , since this is a skepticism *community* , if you have any senarios about this law.Cause you have about everything else.Thanx in advance.

Why yes I have heard about this law. One interesting scenario is that I visit Greece and my cell phone has a couple silly games on it so i guess I would go to jail.
Wouldn't Windows also be illegal because it's sold with games?

It appears the intent is to eliminate gambling and arcade games. I can't imagine how this could be considered a threat to the public well-being. This law also would ban flight simulators and other training software, or the Greeks could just reclassify every computer game as a training platform or educational software, eh?

Hehe , i was -just- reading about this.And yes, law suites where brought up against customer service in Thessaloniki.Anyway, do you think that it's another trick to make Greece look awful in the eyes of the world?
