           	| Greetings, Carbon-Based Bipeds!
Hello, Grendel here, aka "The Skeptomaniac" (website plugged in my profile somewhere). I've just joined the SFN. The guy at the door said I was s'posta mail everybody $20....is that right? I've never had to do that at other message boards....lemme know, and I guess I'll need mailing addresses.

Anyway, I'm going to take a look around and see what y'all got going on here, if that's OK.

 Thanks!

| Howdy Grendel.
Welcome to SFN. Hope you enjoy it.

We'll contact you as to the delivery of the $20. Tell no one, especally the police. Under no circumstances must security be breached. Remember, 'they' are all around us and even the walls have ears. A double-thickness, foil hat is reccommended over the more standard ........

Got to go back to the home, now.

Welcome to SFN. I'll forward you the PO Box for the $20. (It's in the Grand Caymans, can't be too careful)

I thought you name sounded familiar but I ended up being mistaken. The name I was thinking of was Grundel. (You old timers like me will remember it from Atari's Adventure game.)

| Val, if you've read Beowulf, you might recongnize Grendel as the monster from said story.

I did. It's just that the Atari thing came to mind first.

| The answer is, "Forty Two," obviously. What was the question again?
 Welcome to SFN!

| Welcome all you new people! Wow, how'd all these JREFers get over here? Note to JREFers, anyone, and I mean anyone who invites any of the current crop of JREF trolls over here: I will hurt you. Note to SNF regulars: this is a very intelligent, although somewhat rowdy crowd. Don't even get Denise and I started on some subjects. And whatever you do, don't piss off De_Bunk. If any trolls show up, just pass them to De_Bunk and let him play. He's very very good at it.
