Here it is. This is your board away from your boards. Happy venting!

Okay...There's too many damned people over there, and they make you put little symbols in place of letters, so that the evil words don't seem quite so evil anymore. Plus, a thread will start in the morning and be a mile long by lunch time. I ain't got me no good education, and can't read that much. It makes my head hurt, because I gotta read the same old crap over and over again. And, there's this guy that posts seventy-five times a day blaming all of the world's problems on some sort of 'leftist brainwashing conspiracy'. This from a guy that thinks the 'force' is with the Emperor. And then, there's that other guy with the 'free willy' fetish. Why he's into whales, I don't know. And, there's so many of them that gets pissed off when when you say something bad about people in the Republican Party, and call you names if you don't believe just like them about blowin' up foriegners and makin' war and such. And, worst of all, I ain't never got to talk with Mr. James Randi! Not once!

I'll be back over there in a couple of minutes.

Kil, thought you said you were going to put this in the Astronomy section? No biggie. This is a better spot for it.
Anyhoo, how can one rant about free speech grow to be about four different threads?
That aside, something happened over there that made me as mad as I've been in ages. We have a relatively new poster who's about 16. A real obnoxious little twit. Anyway, he posted some sort of streaming video that gave me the blue screen of death and totally locked up my computer. Pissed me off since I was enjoying conversation on PalTalk and msn at the time. The little prick shows up on PalTalk, and pretty much called him every name in the book. After I ranted at him for about 10 minutes, he got the idea that I was upset. He changed the post to a link, and that solved the problem
So guess what the little twit does the very next day? Then he pisses and moans that I wouldn't let him into the PalTalk room for the holiday party. Not only was a pretty unhappy, it's an "R" rated room, he's 16. Do the math.

I'd love to participate in the JREF forum, but I'd rather not get involved. So, I pretty much lurk. I look at it as a spectator sport, especally when Franko and/or Jedi Knight tune up their fiddles. Remarkable! Skulls of titainium! Most enjoyable! Wish they'd pay us a visit!

But as this is a bitch thread, I've got to say that Tim's got it right. Too many people with too many axes to grind, mostly each other's. Fun to watch, but who needs the hassle? Even our friend, De_Bunk seems to have gotten a little discouraged, as has Titanpoint and others.

Also, their moderators seem, let us say, a little clumsy and this is something, IMHO, that is detracting from the forums. They either need to clamp down hard, or let 'er rip. Sitting on the fence will only lead to a sore ass (or worse if the fence is electrified barbed-wire).

But, all in all, I got to say:

Also, I sort of intended this to be a sanctuary. A place where you could come and discuss the goings on at jref without hassle. I know many of you know each other. Some of us here at SFN may not know what the hell you are talking about and thats OK.

Really, I would try to get over to the jref boards myself, but SFN takes up what time I have for this sort of thing. I did register there when it was new. Oh well.....

Lisa, I bet he spends a considerable amount of time bleeding, by the bikeracks, after school...
