 Hi!
Is there any possibility of expanding the dictionary used for the spell checking option? Every now and then I stumble upon words that is "missing" from the dict. Week days, common names, and common denominations, like "Monday" "Jesus" "Christian" "abiogenesis" Stuff like that...

Spel cheker dosnt tel u how to spel word rite. Just says BadSpellYouDumbDuffus.
Would be nice if spell checker would give u a choice like olde time MS-DOS6 Win3.1 "WORD" would do. But that would be to resorce expensive i guess. |

We can look at an update, but it could be quite a hassle to manage. I will see what I can do but something like Word is out of the question. There are, however, browser plugins many of you could install for Internet Explorer that do spell check.

  YES!
Spell checking plugin... I have installed a plug in from http://www.iespell.com/ and it works like a charm.
I seriously hope everyone (especially those who know they can be sloppy with spelling) install it. It installs as an Icon to the right in the tool-bar. Interface is just like "Microsoft Word". There's also a hyperlink that opens a web-page to a dictionary/thesaurus if you want to double-check the any of the spelling-suggestions.

(edited: Ironic isn't it? The spell-checker doesn't catch spelling errors that only changes the meaning of the word. It doesn't have grammar control.) |

I just cut and past my tirade into MS Word and then watch as all the red and green lines pop up.
I'm more of a bad typist than bad speller.....but sometimes my spelling leaves a lot to be desired.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.
