Last saturday I saw a preview for a new Superman TV series, about his life as a teenager in Smallville. It looks quite interesting, but it got me to thinking.
What if Superman had been found by Fundamentalists?
Superman would not be an alien then, as everyone knows aliens are realy demons trying to trick us. Those demon lies about him comming from Krypton are just ment to lead him away from his holy path. He is obviously an angel sent by God to enact his word!
Forget bombs, heat vision will take care of those abortion clinics mighty quickly. Those troublesome gays and darwinians will be run out of his god fearing (or is that superman fearing?) country in no time.

How about, what if Batman was a fundie? He has less of an aversion to killing and torture.

Ya know, I did see a comercial once for a series of Christian kids videos called Bibleman!
Bibleman vs. the Shadow of Doubt was one episode. He fights the villans and quotes verse at the same time.
Gee, wonder how bibleboy there would do against an actual bible scholar who could point out the contradictions to him.
