Our old server was unreliable and we didn't get many features for the money, so we moved everything to this new location yesterday.
I'm sure there will be a few problems, so if anyone would be so kind, please report them in the appropriate forum below.
We have a tremendous amount of space here, so if any skeptics want to have material hosted with us, just let someone on the staff know and we can set something up for you.

While sending a message to another member on this site, I crashed. Got that Error message saying.....sheesh, I forget what it said, but you know, that one that logges you off the Internet. Have been getting a little trouble on this machine again don't know if it's the site here, but it sure was strange, just as I hit the send button. |

Drop outs are your ISPs fault, not that of any sites you visit.

On AOL, there is a keyword called "My Scores". You simply bring up the little box with sports scores and let it sit behind whatever you are doing. HOWEVER, DO NOT MINIMIZE IT. It keeps changing, so that it fools the ISP's electronic (or whatever) powers that be into thinking that you are very much alive. With other ISPs, there must be something similarly lively. Hopefully. Whatever you use must be constantly and continuously active and changing from one thing to another. Try different active things until you find one which takes over the "busy doing something" function.
Hope it works.

Connecting to an IRC server and just staying on is something I have found to work.
The IRC server pings each user every so often to see if they are connected.
This pinging makes the ISP think you are still connected.

There is also a little utility program you can download to keep a connection alive. I usually just opened AIM and that has done the trick.

Thanks, I don't know what all that means, and I can never remember what an ISP is. LOL, @ must be getting frustrated with me, I bet I've asked him several times. But maybe I did take too long replying to a post or something. I'll try clicking things, etc. We'll see what happens. The thing is, last time this started happening, it was thought I had a virus and we, put in Windows again. Don't you just hate computers? |

I deleted the Instant Messenger, because those stupid little boxes, which were continuously insistent, drove me nuts. I was unable to stop their incessantly popping up waiting for an answer. The only way I rid myself of the silly instant messages was to delete AIM entirely. Right now, *My Scores* has a message: *There are currently no games scheduled today*! I wonder if it is presently useful. I will find out soon enough if I get knocked offline for being idle. With AOL and Microsoft, you are idle when you are reading, writing, or thinking. The Internet must be intended for morons...
