Another re-make of the Night of the Living Dead.  Just doesn't look very good.
No no no. It's no remake. Romero directed Night of the Living Dead, then Dawn of the Dead, and now Land of the Dead. This is the guy who for all intents and purposes created the "zombie" movie. He has now, very late in his career, decided to make the final film of his trilogy. Whether it's any good or not remains to be seen, but it certainly is promising.

As for myself, i prefered the 1978 version. The one thing i loved about the 2004 remake though is the soundtrack. Richard Cheese's cover of Down with the Sickness is still in my mp3 playlist. |
