Over Three Hundred Proofs of God's Existence
It's a pretty comprehensive list of theistic arguments boiled down to their most basic construction. Many are easily recognizable summaries of actual theistic "proofs"... quote:
ONTOLOGICAL ARGUMENT (I)
(1) I define God to be X.
(2) Since I can conceive of X, X must exist.
(3) Therefore, God exists.
...while others are more silly (though probably equally recognizable).quote:
ARGUMENT FROM THE BIBLE
(1) [arbitrary passage from OT]
(2) [arbitrary passage from NT]
(3) Therefore, God exists.
ARGUMENT FROM INTELLIGENCE
(1) Look, there's really no point in me trying to explain the whole thing to you stupid Atheists -- it's too complicated for you to understand. God exists whether you like it or not.
(2) Therefore, God exists.

These are hilarious in their dryness. I like, for example:quote:

I don't reacll if it happened here or at II, but some time back, a thread was devoted to adding to the list. It was hilarious!
Argument from Parasitic Infestation:
(1)There is a hole in the sole of my shoe.
(2)I prayed that the guinea worm would not come through it.
(3)The guinea worm did not.
(4)Thereore, God exists.
