I missed this review because it wasn't in the usual review section. However, in last Sunday's Times, there was a reveiw of a book by philosophy professor M. Ruse, The Creation-Evolution Struggle (Harvard University Press, 2005). In the review, the author (Peter Steinfels), observes that "in a little over three weeks, on July 10, it will be exactly 80 years since John Scopes went on trial." Thus, I thought I'd link the review and the book here for people who might want to check it out. I'll try and get a copy and, during the week of July 10th, try and post my own comments. Others should feel invited to do the same.
