Don't be ridiculous. We all know that the tooth fairy is a Mason member of the illuminati using pyramid power to convert enamel into coins in support of the New World Order. Sheesh!

The foundation of morality is to . . . give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibliities of knowledge.

However, as I found out at a young age, if you don't tell the tooth fairy about the tooth that will soon be waiting under the pillow, no transformation occurs.

I honestly can't remember if I neglected to tell anybody because I suspected something, or if I just forgot....

Although I would like to accept that Kil is the tooth fairy, really I would, I fear I must go along with R.Wreck.

It just explains so much (fills in the gaps, if you will).

Hmmmm. How do I explain this? See, being the Tooth Fairy is a temporary position; only it is more of an obligation. Many Tooth Fairies have come before me and many are out there right now. We serve until we are not needed anymore. Also, we really only take a few mouthfuls of teeth. (As I understand it, Catholic Tooth Fairies have to work harder than your average tooth fairy of which I am one.) We only take those teeth that are the closest to us, geographically speaking. Naturally, we take those teeth one, or at the most, two at a time. (Sometimes an accident will cause us to bend this rule a bit, but we really don't like having to do that.) The teeth can't be taken until they are out of the child's mouth, in secret, in an agreed upon location usually dictated by local culture. Speaking as only one of many Tooth Fairies, I throw the teeth away. (I have heard that some Tooth Fairies hollow the teeth out and sell them to dentists as caps. But I remain skeptical of that claim.)

I hope this clears up a few things about Tooth Fairies and explains why I can't answer your questions more directly…

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

You don't realize just how far through it we are. I too, in my advanced years, am a tooth fairy. Except that now I don't sneak the teeth from under pillows and leave pocket change, no. These days, I dig the teeth out of piles of snakeshit and leave nothing in return.

I think it was Kevin Costner, or at the very least Mel Blanc under the guise of Daffy Duck, who said "One Tooth Fairy is a lone nut, two tooth fairies is a conspiricy".

Am I given to understand that I can cite no less an authority as The skeptic friends network" as proof that a conspiricy exists?

I'm glad that someone confessed to being the tooth fairy. I always wondered where it got its money from. Turns out it has a day job.
