Well, the other night some of friends bought play dough. I have no idea why they did it, but they did it. And let me tell you, that thing shape shifts like nothing else. First we had a house, then a dog, then an icosahedron!

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

I hate to be grumpy, but you will have to pay me to have that conversation.

I must have been about six years old at the time. We had a lovely holiday-cottage bordering a crop field and a forest. Across the field was a smallish lake (roughly five hectares). A jetty extended into the water. One day, my mother found me sitting on the jetty making funny noises and pulling faces. Why was I doing this? Well, I was trying to do exactly what my favorite cartoon character Barbapapa did all time: Change shape. My mother snickered at the cuteness of my actions. Sitting here -now a proud parent myself- thinking about it, I whole-heartedly have to agree with my mother. That's cute. Thanks for bringing back the memory.

First of all, I think you get more hits from the spelling Wendigo or Skin Walker. Saw the show, it didn't appeal to me. It was, however, well researched in the stance of the Amerind legends that I have seen.

Yeah... silly putty is so cool... you can make fake noses with it. It pulls comics off newspaper too and then you can stretch 'em.

Just flying through space with the rest of you...
