This here download deleted is a game. Try your luck and perhaps you can rid civilization of Osama bin Laden. I ran this through virus check when I got it a could weeks ago and found it to be clear. I also ran my anti-spyware program after installation and it came back negative. Should be harmless fun.

Warning! It turns out that this is spyware and it caused me a lot of grief today. If you installed this search your computer for wnad.exe and wnad.dat and delete them both after uninstalling the software.
My apologies for this, but I really had no idea at the time of posting.

So what does spyware do? Would the fact that I have ZoneAlarm make a difference? The computer the game is on is no longer on-line. Used only for excel and games. Ed bought a new computer, and no, I don't know why we need 50gig. Lisa

Most forms of spyware are programs that reside on your hard drive and record a list of websites you visit. Some can report your cyber-travels to an interested party, but the ones I've seen most will pop up ads, using your browser perhaps, at various times. ZoneAlarm should deal with the unauthorized send-outs, but IMO the best way to be rid of the executables is with the freeware program found here: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
This program will also remove certain cookies and registry entries, but I've used it for about 6 months and it's never suggested anything that I wouldn't also remove manually, nor have any of the deleted registry items caused havoc as far as I can tell.

What's funny is that I used the lavasoft program after I first installed this game and it came up negative. Go figure. I just caught it today using 99% resources in my task manager and did a quick search and found a site that told me what it was. As far as I can tell it only pops up annoying ads for the red cross. Perhaps more but nothing scary I am pretty sure. Zonealarm should block it just fine. I'm sure it couldn't get out of our network with a proxy server and Zonealarm.
