I swear, I think we should be able to mathematically prove somehow that as belief in Christ goes up, use of spell checkers goes down.
I came across this chap after he posted this screed in the Talk Origin's feedback section for November:

I just visited again and got a pop-up titled THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS EVOLUTION...Only Variations of KINDS. that I don't think I got before. Not sure if the pop-ups are random or what. Anyway, on it he says:

Love that last bit. God isn't retarded, therefore evolution is false. How could I have been so blind?

There are two links to Skip Intro. One of them goes back to the intro. Pure brilliance. And apparently it's more important to the author to show off his Flash scripting prowess than it is to present his information. Sadly he doesn't succeed at even that. But regarding Dave W.'s comment about knowing left from right, it's probably better the fellow is at home butchering a web site than out driving and endangering the public.
His case against evolution, as much as I could reasonably stand to peruse on such a poorly produced web site, seems to be based on the same old *yawn* argument from incredulity. He can't believe that anything other than his delusion is true, therefore it isn't. Different day, same story.
These people remind me of the believers in UFOliens. Same old anecdotes copied and pasted. A tone of near begging that the world of science should finally believe them. After all they've repeated their stories so often they believe it themselves.

You know, it's impossible to tell the subtle parody sites from the real thing anymore. I just went through the test again, playing a "Satanist," and got the following:You have rejected the free gift and instead have embraced the big lie, and the father of lies. I always wondered: if satan is the father of lies, then how does one know if the bible was NOT written by satan, to mislead people away from the true message. How does one "prove" the bible is the word of god? Because it says so? If satan is the master of lying, that is exactly what he would put in the bible. Becuase you get a warm fuzzy feeling when you pray/worship? Satan is the prince of the physical world - maybe he can manipulate the glands in your body to produce endorphins which make you feel good.
So how does one KNOW they aren't really worshiping satan? |
