But seriously, I think it is guilt by association. Techno is associated with drugs like ecstasy, and dance clubs that are often little more than meat markets. Raves are generally havens for drug use and sexual encounters, and techno is played at those.
Or it is just their Puritan origins; techno is music to dance to, and dancing has been considered a sin in the past by some Christian groups. |

I think most of the people who don't like techno (their not all christian) do so because they just don't like it. period. I don't like country music but it's not because I hate rural people. |
