Just THIS In.....

Japan Demands South Korea Halt Survey 10:40 p.m. ET

TOKYO (AP) -- Japan demanded Wednesday that South Korea immediately halt an operation to chart waters claimed by both countries, and sent a coast guard patrol boat chasing after the South Korean ship conducting the survey.
---------------------------------------------------------------------Orwellingly Yurz sez: I don't want to get too far out in front of today's North Korea bottle rocket display, but...this little story out of Tokyo could gum-up any and the always lame attempts at diplomacy on the part of The Busheviks.

Japan, South Korea and China are rather vested in all this Asian bellicosity of late. This lesser row would strengthen South Korea's hand a smidgen to dis-align with Japan...thus allowing China to keep its hand even closer to the vest. So, what we might have here is more of the inscrutable.

Remember the Maine...........and the Gulf of Tonkin?

Discussion?
