Wow. That article starts out with this absurd sentence:
quote:
Eliminating God from the universe is the very first order of business for the liberal-socialist mind.

...and only goes downhill from there.

What a deliberately distorted pack of lies. The guy who wrote this knew just what he was doing, lying to attack Global Warming.

Yup. The author clearly doesn't understand that "uniformitarianism" doesn't mean "nothing big ever happens."

ETA: I also find it funny that he almost calls Al Gore a conservative.

I'm just confused about how a movie discussing climateology can be contradicted by a theory explaining biodiversity.

Apparently this Baptist Minister wanted to eliminate god from the universe.

This clown purports to view things from the perspective of the Americans of 1776 - in other words people who believed it was acceptable to own human beings as property, women should not be allowed to vote etc etc.

Well, I'm confused. Your link sends me to a page on Thomas Clement Douglas. Surly you didn't mean him…

It would be hard to get more liberal socialist than Tommy Douglas (who was a Baptis minister minister before entering politics) and according this Thomas Brewton such people want to eliminate god.

Ah, so the rest of your post starting with "this clown" was directed at Brewton, not Douglas. That wasn't clear to me either.

Wow....just...well...wow.

I wonder if it is a genuine mis-understanding of evolution or a deliberate attempt to distort and have a go at global warming , atheists , socialists , Al Gore and evolution all at the same time. I gotta think the latter , the scantist of looks at wiki and it's links (his source ) throws his strawman to the wind.
