A Petco employee preformed a cruel, deadly "training" procedure upon a woman's beloved companion animal, and the dog died. Rest easy, as this video about the incident from CNN.com doe not show the dog's death. Sadly, "alternative" nonsense like this kills both man and beast.

Ah yes, fucking Petco. Nothing out of the ordinary here, folks; just standard, operating procedure.
Petco is a big pet store chain with a reputation for improper and unsanitary containment of animals and general incompetence among the poorly paid staff. Our little conservation society went after them some years ago -- unsuccessfully, as we're chronically "underfunded," that is to say: broke. But we got to make a lot of noise that might have trimmed sales for a day or two.
The ASPCA has enjoyed some success against them, but, as far as I can tell, hasn't really hurt them all that much either.
