Multi Millionaire Madonna Miffs Master of Mumbo Jumbo.

I've never been a Madonna fan. The disco beats and concerts that are little more than lip synching, costume changes, and scantily clad male dancers aren't my musical cup of tea.

I am enjoying, however, her tweaking the noses of the world leaders of promoting superstition by wearing a crown of thorns and being "crucified" on a glittering cross:

quote:
Speaking on behalf of The Pope, Ersilio Cardinal Tonino said yesterday, “This concert is a blasphemous challenge to the faith and a profanation of the cross. She should be ex-communicated. To crucify herself during the concert in the city of Popes and martyrs is an act of open hostility.”

You go girl!

The foundation of morality is to . . . give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibliities of knowledge.

That's Madonna's whole show - provoke the audience silly.

Madonna is out of control! She should be... crucified.

She cracks me up, too. Her ratings must have been higher than the ratings seeker pope and now he's pissed and trying to get back on top...LOL!!! Religious people and their sanctimonious seriousness in their own images...LOL!!!
