I'm pretty much computer stupid so talk to me like I'm 10.
I have a pic on my computer that I would like to use as an Avatar, its the right size and all. I know I can submit it to you ... somehow. But I am not sure what it means when it says "input the correct avatar image link URL. (prefix with http://) and also specify your own Avatar name" How exactly do I send you this pic?

Find a website like Imageshack that will host the picture for free. After you upload your image, you will then be given a url link which you can paste in the correct field for your avatar.

It may take some playing around to get it to work, but that's the basic idea.

Upload the selected image to an email by selecting attachments in whatever email server you use and send it to davew@skepticfriends.org or david_gluck@skepticfriends.org.

Remember to say something like “SFN avatar” as the subject.

Kil, I sent it to the first email you gave. If there are any problems let me know. I also uploaded it to the website H.H gave and have a url for it if that would be easier.
