My beard, which grows to half way down my chest, hasn't been trimmed since I threw my razor away some three decades or so ago. It gets no longer.
You've always been beardless in my mental picture of you.

Edit: Flint and obsidian, et al, can be knapped to an edge comparable to to a razor, and was. This shows up in ancient tool kits. Also, many aborigional peoples, such as American Indians, plucked their beards -- Ouch!!
Aztec priests used obsidian knives to cut out human hearts in sacrificial ceremonies. They could cut your heart out so fast you'd be alive and aware enough to see your still-beating heart held up in the priest's hand. At least that's what I was told by an anthropology teacher eons ago. I'm certain stone age peoples could manage a hair-cut too.

On a related note, have you ever considered your heart is something you were never meant to see or touch? Ditto for your skeleton. After showing him a picture of a fossilized skull from Science magazine the other day, I had to explain to my 3.5 year old son that he will likely never have the opportunity to see his own skull. And if he does, it will be under very bad circumstances.

Or through pictures.

My wife said the same thing. But an X-Ray isn't the same thing as actually seeing your bones. Even if you're referring to pictures taken during surgery, it's not the same as looking at your bones in real time after a compound fracture or something.
