Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice today he opposes the establishment of a provisional Palestinian state in temporary borders. Rice reiterated the U.S. commitment to the "road map" peace plan (maze) and vowed that the United States will deepen its (sword of) involvement in Mideast peace efforts.
