Have you seen the Wikipedia on him? He gets some trash for the book he wrote about Iraq 1976. They managed to select a few quotes from it that puts him in a very bad light, and leave the reader to make the wrong conclusion. If you are not a critical thinker, you'd assume that Jan Guillou cheers Saddam Hussein for the great monster he was alongside other mad dictators like Idi Amin and such.
