Exactly.



Given that realization, what should be done now? I for one don't have any plans to sink roots in any coastal areas. Probably things like pre-fab housing will be good investments. Heck, they're good investments now and demand is only going to rise. It might be too soon to invest in dykes. And with some educated guessing and a topo map you might be able to guesstimate where the new coastline will be. I.E. Land investment opportunities....
