This guy can't seem to keep his thoughts straight. The Theory of Evolution has nothing to say about spirituality nor politicians, nor the imaginations of editorial writers of any fishwrap.
Here's an excerpt from the San Francisco Chronicle about Obama. Adjectives like “fawning,” “effusive,” and “unhinged” don't quite capture this article, which is titled “Is Obama an Enlightened Being?” “Messianic” is more like it. Interestingly, the highest praise that this article heaps on Obama is that he will “help us evolve.”
A smarmy quote from the FSC, then this:
I suppose this is one of the reasons ID is despised — it rips to shreds evolution's religious pretensions.
I almost hate to say it but the only thing ID has shreaded it it's own credibility.

The comments contain the same quality of high-larity as Billy's.

As noted on AtBC, this came from a man who works for a Baptist school.

I think that, perhaps, Bill is trying to be funny. But then, who knows? He hasn't exactly written anything of any sort of substance in a long time; At least as far as I can remember. His only game nowadays seems to be very unsophisticated rhetoric.

Yeah. As I said in another thread, "he's treadin' water and prayin' for low tide."

His problem is: whereaway now? Everything he's tried has failed his expectations and there's no guarentee that the next attempt at evangalizing the public schools will fare any better. Indeed, it will probably be worse, as he has become pretty well known amongst those other than his fellow-travelers & skeptics. If he's going to come up with something, it'd better be good enough to keep him from becoming a laughingstock yet again because yet another poorly concieved project like Expelled just might shut him down. Or at least trim him enough that he'll become even less relevant than currently. That would be a pity; he's fun.

So Dembski finally found a writer who mixed politics, evolution, and "spirituality" in a New Agey mess that is almost as ridiculous as his own pronouncements. Indeed, the Chron article is silly. But the mere fact that evolution is mentioned by some idiot doesn't tie the science that Dembski so hates to that batshit screed.

If Jesus Christ Hisself walked up to Dembski on the street, the Dr. Dr. would probably scream and run, thinking he was a scientist.
