It now seems that the scumbag who shotgunned up the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, killing two and salting down several more, a couple of them seriously, was simply an unaffilated liberal-hater. I'd thought he was probably some deranged, holy-rolling follower of one of the more rabid, Pentacostal preachers due to the church being Unitarian and therefore quite liberal.

During a children's production, no less! Too bad there is no Hell, as there would be a special place reserved there just for people like this.

And do you want to know the kicker? Ok, the dumb fuck only fired 3 shots from a semi-automatic shotgun before running dry. He didn't have brains enough to remove the magazine plug to give himself a couple more rounds. Or maybe he was just trying to hurry things along -- it is said that he was trying to commit suicide by cop. During a children's production! Hanging's too good for him.

Is dipshit Ann Coulter going to congratulate him? She did say that a few liberals should be shot.

Maybe the guy thought that a bunch of bleeding heart liberals would just sit there sniveling and waiting for the gun barrel to point in their direction. I live and work around a whole lot of people that are socially far out in right field and economically lost. They honestly seem to believe that liberals are all cowards and dues paying members of PETA, unions and homosexual support groups. They appear to have a very limited world view.

Mostly, I think the guy wasn't even bright enough to get himself a membership in the Klan. He did have a whole lot of shells and obviously didn't expect to be subdued by the congregation.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/07/28/jim-d-adkisson-charged-in_n_115281.html

Adkisson "stated that he had targeted the church because of its liberal teachings and his belief that all liberals should be killed because they were ruining the country, and that he felt that the Democrats had tied his country's hands in the war on terror and they had ruined every institution in America with the aid of the major media outlets," Investigator Steve Still wrote.

Uh huh.

I was wondering, is this person going to be charged with Terrorism? It was a politically motivated act, apparently...

Will he be shipped to Gitmo for interrogation to find out who his buddies are? Perhaps labeled an enemy combatant since he attacked American civilians?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 'law' allows the President to declare anybody an enemey combatant, regardless of what they've done, and put them away indefinitely with no ability to contest their detainment or charges, if any, leveled against them. So yes, if he wanted to, the President could put this shit head in Gitmo. But he won't because the President hates liberalism too, albeit for different reasons than this ignorant dip shit.

Well...
accused church shooter's reading list

Diane Sweet
Published: Monday July 28, 2008

Jim Adkisson, the 58 year old man being held in a Knoxville, Tennessee jail on murder charges stemming from a shooting during a children's musical at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church on Sunday, is said to have had a array of right-wing political books in his home, along with brass knuckles, empty shotgun shell boxes, and a handgun discovered by police who searched his home.
Evidently, the idiots O'Reilly & Savage were on the list. Not Limbaugh, or at least he wasn't mentioned, but in the same vein. I'd like to see an accruate list of titles this fool had.
