Some extra lowland gorillas have been found.

Though the species is vanishing in many areas, an unexpected and amazing extra lot of 125,000 of the great, gentle beasts have turned up in a Congo swamp.

Now, if we could only find some great awks, some mammoths...

What freaks me out about this is all the fucking poachers who are going to make their way there. I hope the government or some international bodies are patrolling for this, or I do fear the worst for this amazing discovery.

Right! Perhaps they should have kept the location and perhaps even the discovery under wraps?

Still, this is very good news. Let's hope the habitat is well protected and poachers loose this round.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Poachers of endangered wildlife should be treated the same as they have treated others: shoot the bastards on sight!
