Has anyone come across Neal Adams and his idea that the earth is expanding like a balloon Apparantly there is no such thing as Plate Tectonics or continental drift.

Guy's a nutjob. Thinks that the Earth formed from remants of the Big Bang, and that he's shown that plate subduction is impossible by using idealized thought experiments that have no relation to reality.
