Jacob was born at 2:50AM 9/19 in San Diego. Jaime and Boron10 and baby are all doing fine. Further updates as they come in...

Congratulations. So what are you waiting for? Lets get that little tike an account.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Congratulations Kil!

Just out of NOMB curiosity deriving from our recent emails, how many kids of what genders do you have?

In the interests of full disclosure, I have one son, 45; and one daughter 39. Collectively, they have been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life, and also one of the most stressful!

However, to paraphrase Harry Truman; If you can't stand the patter of little feet, stay out of the bedroom! If I had another life, I'd gladly do it all over again!

Tim's 32? I thought we graduated HS at the same time, and figured he was my age, but I'm a few years older... was he really young for his HS class? Or am I mistaken as to when he graduated ('91-ish)?
