Not an official contest or anything,

Seeing as there is still much complaining about the new classification system I wanna hear what your system would be and what you think of the current system...

The Star Trek system might work but its all over the place, like gas giants being Class J and Class T for some reason.

I'm working on mine...

P.S. I think the current system is fine, 8 planets and a bunch of big asteroids. Though I prefer the term Planetoids to Dwarf Planet.

The classification of planets in Star Trek comes (as far as I know) from Vulcan designations. Though most are probably made up on the fly while the authors were writing.

I also prefer "planetoids" over Dwarf Planet.
