Man in skirts to read book with famous friends!
Pope Benedict XVI will kick off a week-long reading of the Bible on Italian television starting Sunday, with readers to include three former presidents and Oscar-winning actor Roberto Benigni.
Some 2,000 people will take turns reading the Bible's 73 books, from the Old Testament's Genesis to the New Testament's Book of Revelations, at Rome's Holy Cross in Jerusalem basilica.
The pope will record the first reading at the Vatican.

That ought'a be a real gasser. But just so's the godless too, can particapate in this glorius celebration of the tenacity of myth, there will be a sacred prize awarded to the first attentitive atheist who spots the mistake in the above quote (atheists only, please).
On a related matter, it seems that Bush is being sued over some prayer nonsense or other. That's nice. Screwing with the Constitution of the United States should be expensive.

And the Nephilim hoo-hah in Numbers, where the 'Sons of God' picked & chose amongst the earthly women. I still haven't gotten it straight as to why such nonsense rates a mention in anything other than the funny pages, but it did inspire some crazed preacher to convince an atheist to craft the Cardiff Giant. Perhaps it was just for it's amusment value.
