Their apologetics are just so stupid! I mean, it's like a Gong Show rerun over there. Here's a sample: 1. NSF: “Details of Evolutionary Transition from Fish to Land Animals Revealed”
The supposed missing link Tiktaalik is back in the news again, rearing its ugly “evolutionary” head on the supposed transitional element of a mobile neck.
A new study published in Nature takes a look at skeletal features other than the fish's fins, which have previously been the centerpiece for claims that it was evolving into a land dweller. Specifically, the new study looks at the specimen's internal head skeleton.

Being incapable of grokking Nature's article, possibly due to Bibiocal brain damage, and after a little floundering around (pun unintended but kind'a neat) they jump back to the old tried & true Coelacanth splutter. They know that one works because it's made fools of them before: Don't believe us? We've heard the story before, with coelacanths, a fish once known only from the fossil record. The lobed fins on the fossil specimens fueled evolutionary claims that it walked on the ocean floor and evolved into a land-walking tetrapod.
Imagine evolutionists' surprise when, in 1938, a live coelacanth was found swimming—not walking!—in the ocean off the African coast. Apparently the coelacanth was unaware that it was supposed to have been a transitional form extinct for 65 million years! More have been found in recent years, and the lobed fins are clearly used just to help the fish swim.

Can you even imagine the kind of freemasonry and secret handshakes that would be required for scientists to maintain the kind of fraud that AiG claims? Tens, hundreds of thousands of scientists, marching in lockstep to promote an "evilutionist" myth? Even with the handful of conspirators involved in Nixon's Watergate crimes, there was one of them who broke down and told the truth.
How do the evilutionists maintain such security? And what's the payoff for such an elaborate "hoax"?

Well, you're going to love Top Ten Evolutionary Myths.
Nice thing, each section has links to more of their bs. That article of theirs is a collection of the main YEC claims about evolution. It would make it easier to rebut.

Well, unlike Kent Hovind, I don't think Ken Ham is technically retarded, nor a moron. I think his arguments are both retarded and moronic, but he's clearly a brilliant and successful con artist and leader of the intellectually challenged.

| And Ham has to repeat the usual tripe about wanting oral debates so that people can "make up their own minds" while also asking "what is he afraid of?" since Phelps refuses. I have no idea whether or not Phelps is afraid of such a debate, but that is totally irrelevant since the only thing these debates are good for is to sway uninformed people's opinions rather than settling the underlying scientific questions. They should be asking for written debates but that is obviously too much too ask. |
