Um, did you read more than just the first post in this thread?
Any acceptance of Leroy's hypothesis appears to be purely for the purposes of giving the concept a fair chance. Perhaps Leroy will be back to support his belief (I sort of doubt it), but that doesn't mean that the hypothetical cannot be engaged. Arguing in favor of a position one knows or suspects to be false ("playing Devil's Advocate") is an honored and ancient method of strengthening arguments, if done with integrity. Refusing to do so should be anathema to a skeptic.
Especially if the only argument against Leroy's is that anchorwomen are more stalked than any other group. Even if that's true, it doesn't mean that every anchorwoman's beating death should be attributed to a hypothetical stalker, and no other possibilities entertained. That would be stupid.

Why the 'tude, mariezzzz? Do you always come on so rudely when you first enter someone's house? And if so, is your nose still in pristine condition?
Now then, you have made a definitive statement with no accompanying support. How do you know that anchorwomen are more often stalked than, say, pop stars or good-looking waitress'? Where did you get this startling information?
Unless you are here just to take a cheap shot or two, please support your claim.

Like joining a group of total strangers that you have overheard discussing an issue, rudely and crudely insulting them, and then arrogating the right to order them to do something you obviously have not found the decency, courtesy, or intelligence to do yourself!

Actually, health professionals are the most stalked profession, specifically, mental health professionals.

Evidently, you are correct. But stalkers come in many different types, some of them pretty exotic; even professional. Which is a reflection on our society even sadder than Mariezzzzz' attempt at comment.
