This cartoon is presented as a Jehovah's Witness product, but the narration at the beginning mentions doctrine being "conveniently readjusted." So if this was originally a JW production, it looks like the present narration was substituted for the original. Anyway, whoever made it, this cheesy cartoon is a hoot!

Amazing people really believe this drivel whole-heartily; like some game gone terrible awry into delusion land. Hey, and it's organized and tax free!

"We are all connected; to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, to the rest of the universe atomically."

"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?"

I don't find particularly more retarded than mainstream Christianity, personally...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

I would pass it off as an anti jw cartoon, especially with that beginning piece. Being raised a door knocker, I never saw any of this kind of thing. Probably one of the southern baptist crowd who hate jw efforts. Basically it is what jw believe. Glad I escaped.

Are you in the Jehovah's Witness Protection Program now?

I found if you start talking hard science at them, and point out what a nutbar behe is (yes they are embracing id) they soon leave you alone. Or you could always go and show them how dishonest their creation book is. It does make active jw's angry and aggressive to know that I am happy not being one in the online environment though. SO maybe just a good hellfire wall is needed

"Hellfire wall." I like that. Good for you. Nothing like critical thinking to confound, and sometimes spook, woos of every sort.

Jesus destroys a Volkswagen, one of the kids from the "Leave It To Beaver Show" and then the entire World. (He seems to enjoy it.)

After watching that cartoon, have a look at this educational webpage, (that also explains the cartoon.) Its fun.

And then there's this cool little film:

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

"TAX AND SPEND" IS GOOD! (TAX: Wealthy corporations who won't go poor even after taxes. SPEND: On public works programs, education, the environment, improvements.)
