A while back Mooner started a thread on religious album covers (which I am too lazy to track down). If you find that kind of thing oddly appealing, and if you're in or near LA, you might want to set aside some time to stop by and check this out http://franklinavenue.blogspot.com/2009/03/strategy-of-penetration-and-other.html. I plan on being there on the 28th for the Jack Chick retrospective.

Thanks for the link, TG!

Man, I wish I were closer to LA. I'd definitely be there for both presentations.

Oh hey, I think I will go to this when Michelle gets back from Pismo.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

OK, I survived the 60's so I'm hardly one to criticize, given the bellbottoms and all, but Jesus, what was it about these women and hair? These days all we have are bush leaguers like Jan Crouch to preserve the "big hair" legacy.

It wasn't just the women. In the later 60's and early 70's the guys had strange hair, too. Not talking just the uncut hippy variety, either. My dad, a straight-haired Caucasian man then in his mid-fifties, had a big 'Fro, and I actually copied him.

Yes, exactly like that. Only God knows what's living in there.
