Right. Well, the second amendment complaint is because Republicans don't want any form of gun control, and Reagan is practically another Lincoln in the eyes of the RR and Conservatives. When he left office we were in a recession and had the highest deficit in history up to that time, due to his fiscal policy called "supply side economics" and the beginnings of the deregulation that continued after him, and eventually drove us into our current recession, all based on the same flawed policies that Reagan started and that Republicans still favor. The top of the party (you know, the rich guys who actually call the shots) will never cop to their failures because most of them made a bundle off of tax breaks and deregulation. They just make shit up and blame everyone else, or use scare tactics like saying the Dems want socialism, to keep the rest of the party in line and hopefully writing stupid songs like the one Robb posted.
They don't want Obama. They want Reagan. Get it??? |
