To the philantropist Bill scott....
In your vast generosity of both secular and spiritual giving, Bill, give me this:
Any lady in politics who let herself go to the extent depicted by Mooner above, would lose a great deal of the "political" appeal that she might have had, if fifty pounds lighter, to an average middle-class male voter.
Put a size six print dress on Tina Fey; add the Glock, and watermelon, and she would be pretty much a sex bomb. No?
And which gal would appeal more, particularly to male voters?
Why do you suppose Murdoch mandates that Fox hire sexy, bosomy, leggy young dolls for his alleged "news" network?
Mooner's genius lies in pointing out graphically that sex sells - with a single image (or two)!
Can you make a picture that tells a story as well as the Palin parodies above? Try it, and if you can do it, I'll give the argument to you and admit that it's a piece of cake to construct a clever political satirical image! Because if you could do it, any ignorant fundamentalist could, and that certainly would be no accomplishment at all! |
