How on earth are Harris and Shermer able to be so calm in face of such obnoxious stupidity from Chopra? Impressive!

| Did Chopra think he proved something by the fact that the physicist uses the concept of infinity? |

Chopra's among the "top predators" of the Woos. Such people tend, in my opinion, to have sufficient background to know that what they tell people is untrue.

Much of what such people say seems to be deliberate lies, but the existence of phenomena like cognitive dissonance or Doublethink means that we cannot know if they are believe their own lies, or to what degree they might. (Though maybe in the near future brain scans will be able to more completely resolve thoughts.)

In my opinion, though, people's belief in their own deliberate lies does not make any of them any less a liar. That they may also be suffering from cognitive dissonance is of secondary interest.

| I think the "I wouldn't influence as many people as I do I there were nothing to it" comment pretty much proves your point Mooner |
