And an even more disturbing story.

All kinds of quacks are killing people, often in huge job lots. But the statistics of lives lost due to people needlessly being denied proper scientific medicine are both somewhat difficult to accumulate, and usually amount to dry and uninspiring data.

Human beings sometimes need a close look at the useless suffering and death just only little child who was the victim of magical thinking so that they will put this dangerous nonsense in proper moral perspective.

Homeopathy is rank superstition, merely sympathetic magic dressed up to look like science in the 19th Century. Like many other forms of "alternative" quackery, it must be made a wholly illegal practice.

To bad they can't be subject to the same type of death they inflicted on their baby. That's the only way they could fully grasp the true impact of what they did to their daughter. Skinning alive might be close but that won't occur, as it shouldn't. Jail time is the best we got, it doesn't seem to compare.

I think with England's passive inclusion of Homeopathic treatments in their heath care system and directly providing ineffective homeopathic medicines it served as a justifier and vindicator, adding weight to the parents false belief about the effectiveness. It appears that it isn't only in the US that policy makers are influenced by the profits of a massive fraud. That they advocate it, instead of declaring it the scam it is. Shameful. SS
