I love how the Omi-counter can detect the characteristic radiation of all minerals, even those containing only stable elements. And they use it to detect the one mineral they specifically mention that they have never calibrated it for, diamond. They just confidently turn two knobs, and the Omni-counter is set for diamond.

The Secret Squad seems to have taken over the Griffith Observatory and have added an elevated runway for their stolen X-1 rocket plane, which they've widened so two pilots can sit side-by-side.

Looks like a Douglas Skyrocket to me. There are more links on that Youtube page, probably a lot of episodes.
