The only practical benefit I can see is that it gets warm. In other words, it has the same therapeutic value as a heating pad. The rest is bullshit.

Yeah, and it must get only slightly warm. The whole point of LED is that they are small and give off very little heat. |

So the question is, what power are the LEDs, and what wave-length?
Just because they are infra-red doesn't mean they are actually radiating heat.
