A homeowner in Florida has... wait for it... foreclosed on a bank! This has got to be one of the greatest things I've read in a long time!

Seems like extortion on the bank's part, can't see how they would even figure that they were owed anything at all.

It's Bank of America. They felt they could just ignore the court order.

Good on the guy for exercising his rights under the states to enforce civil judgements including seizing the assets of the offending entity. It took the bank manager 60 minutes to finally write a check for the full amount the couple was due.

Does underscore the point of "don't get mad, get even."

This outcome has to do with the competence of their lawyer. Way to go, justice in a timely fashion. A good friends' sister failed the bar examine 4 times before she gave up. She now works for lawyers, as a 'lawyer'. She told me "I can do everything a lawyer can do except represent a client in court". I shutter to think what what kind of lawyer she could be if she tries the board exams again and passes. In her mind she would feel on par with all lawyers, I suspect. In the eyes of the law the top and bottom of the class are equal. Their lawyer is exceptional and performed exceptionally in this case. Bravo! SS

Seize the furniture! This is almost as awesome as The Hutt River Principality!
