How cool is this?

If you've been looking for a crash course in basic logic — or just want to explain to a friend exactly what a logical fallacy is — turn your attention to these simple, easy-to-understand videos, which lay out the basics of critical thinking.

Oh. I saw those. I think I posted them in "elsewhere" in our weekly summary a few weeks back. But yeah! Very cool! I think I'll post them to our SFN page on facebook. Thanks for reminding me of those videos.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Those are very nicely thought out. I like the art, too. It's great to see a new try at teaching critical thinking ideas to young people.

(These concepts really need to be taught to even somewhat younger kids than the apparent target of these animations, as critical thinking would help kick-start education from the get-go. But trying to figure the jargon to use for critical thinking pedagogy for very early learners is making my brain ache.)
