Estamates of 250,000+ computers could loose internet service tonight.
Wired estimates 64,000 U.S. users and an additional 200,000 users outside the United States are still infected with the malware,
,,,"12 percent of all Fortune 500 companies and four percent of 'major' U.S. federal agencies are still infected with DNSChanger malware."

I also found this which wonders if there is a threat.
In a blog post, Baumgartner said that nobody knows how many of the systems that are still using the Rove Digital servers are truly infected. "It could be that none of these systems are infected. Or all of them could be infected," he wrote. "We are seeing thousands of DNS setting detections on systems that have no malware." That means the stories you've been reading in recent days about hundreds of thousands of DNSChanger infected hosts are speculative, at best.

I used this "Malware check: http://dns-ok.us/" it said I was not infected. One would think they they would simply notify users who were visiting the site they were keeping up under the court order until midnight tonight. That would be to easy I guess.

This has been getting a bit of hype over the last few days. Fortunately, I just reformatted my PC about 6 months ago-- getting rid of years of clutter so it could just be used to play (older) computer games I enjoy, but that also aren't available on my (newer) Macs. It will be interesting to see what (if anything) emerges from all of this...

Wired estimates 64,000 U.S. users...
Which is less than the population of a small town. Just sayin'.
