The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe #435 and #432 discuss the JFK assassination. There is an interview with Gerald Posner, author of Case Closed, and the evidence is overwhelming that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin. Conspiracy believers anomaly hunt and never provide any cogent alternative explanation that fits the evidence.

Some gun rights bloggers I read have commented that they could have made that shot with the equipment easily.

Although some still think that Lt. Cmdr Kohei Hanami had a role in the shooting. Basically finishing what he started.

These people reenacted the shot for what its worth. I don't think it is as difficult as people make it out to be for an experienced gun owner.

Ah, cool. We have the verified shot direction from the place where Lee Harvey Oswald worked, he was a known excellent marksman, and he was a known politically-active violent unstable sociopath. Case closed indeed.
